Common questions
A save says "changed since you loaded it"
Someone changed that item in QuickBooks after Itemlift loaded the list. Click Refresh in Itemlift to load the latest, then make the change again. Itemlift never overwrites newer changes.
A save says QuickBooks "didn't keep" a field
QuickBooks accepted the save but ignored that field, usually Cost on an item that isn't set up for purchasing. Add a purchase account to the item in QuickBooks first.
How do I undo a save?
Right after saving, click Undo in the message at the top of the panel. For older saves, open History and click Undo next to the save. Undo skips items that were changed again since, so newer work is never overwritten.
What does "Past transactions will change" mean?
QuickBooks always updates past invoices and sales receipts when an inventory item's account changes. Itemlift only includes those items if you tick "Also change the account on past transactions".
I'm on a new computer and my companies are gone
Open Itemlift and click Sign in with Intuit, using the same Intuit login as before. Your companies and history come back.
How do I disconnect a company?
In Itemlift, open the company menu and choose "Manage or disconnect", then "Disconnect from QuickBooks". You can also disconnect from inside QuickBooks (Apps, then My apps). Either way, Itemlift deletes what it stored for that company.
How do I delete my Itemlift account?
Email support@itemlift.app from the address on your Intuit login and we'll delete your account and everything stored for it.
